The wall between the formal dining room and the kitchen was removed to make an open kitchen with lots of natural light. A big bar with a vintage sink is installed where the formal dining room was. Such a miraculous change, the white cabinetry is so welcoming and cozy. Beautiful new kitchen! The sink from the home owner’s childhood home adds character to a spacious bar. The formal dining room wall was opened up to let additional light into the living room and to make the kitchen and living room flow together more easily. A bookcase on the side of the fireplace was turned into a little bar off the formal dining room. The new formal dining room; off the kitchen and on the other side of the fireplace in the living room. The little toilet next to the washer and dryer was put into it’s own little bathroom near mom’s office area. An outdated laundry room was divided and turned into a lovely hide-away office space for mom’s headquarters. A guest bed and bathroom were flipped around to make room for an inviting master suite. New and improved shower. White marble double vanity in the master bathroom. A confusing collection of many doors was reduced to these amazing sliding French doors leading from the master bedroom to the master bathroom.
